The Sun says that Wigan have signed Houdini! - get the story right Echo!!
Nothing against Martinez, but the sooner Wigan go back where they belong the better.

I'd rather watch Portsmouth than Wigan - or is that going too far?

Harsh! As much as I want anyone to stay below us in order to keep us up and would like Wigan to stay up too. They play great football and in Martinez have a good, loyal manager. Not sure where Dave Whelan and his money comes into it, they consistently sell for more than they buy season in and season out.

I agree. I would obviously rather Wigan go down than us but they're a brave side that play a bold style of football and it's difficult not to respect that.

Rather watch anybody than pompey,the last time i watched them play Saints my Nan said and i quote `` how can you have blue shirts and red socks it looks silly`` and she knows nothing about football lol

I agree. I would obviously rather Wigan go down than us but they're a brave side that play a bold style of football and it's difficult not to respect that.

Very harsh! Wigan are a side I like to look out for-remind m of Saints when I was growing up, fighting above their weight.
They buy well, sell better and make a profit. Good to watch too!
I'd only like to see them go down if it was a choice between us and them.
Right now, I'd prefer to see QPR ( obviously because of twitchy) Reading ( live locally, and went in corporate to see the Wet Spam game last week-plastic club, music when they score etc..) and A shock team like Villla or Sunderland go down...

I don't give a fig about Wigan. I don't care who goes down as long as it isn't us.

I don't think we will be making any big signings in January.... and that's just fine by me. I think the existing squad will keep us up .. and some. I think it's more likely there will be more spending ahead of next season.
