Lambert attracts West Ham rumours

Daily Echo: Lambert attracts West Ham rumours Lambert attracts West Ham rumours

Saints have turned down an offer from West Ham for Rickie Lambert, according to today's Daily Mirror. Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is a long-term admirer of Saints' number seven.

And with Liverpool loanee Andy Carroll out injured, he is keen to boost his strike options. Lambert has scored eight goals in 20 Premier League appearances.

Paper talk and wishful thinking on wet spams part. That would be like committing football suicide - if there was such a thing!..
Anyone else see the 'straighttalkinggoon
ers' website where they say the main reason they only draw was because the players underestimated us..

This is as old as tea, pluck the best player from the biggest rivals to scupper their aspirations to succeed,Red wine ferguson has done it for years. But in fairness it does work if you have the finances to do it.
Tell wet spam to do one, they have punched above their weight so far and will be in the relegation mix at the death, hence trying to un-settle lambo.
Personally I would like to see a keeper arrive that NA can play week in week out, I have a feeling that he still has nightmares over bart, remember him ,the keeper that warmed the bench for months then was dropped in the deep end,and I reckon thats why were now rotating them.
Whats a world class keeper worth?,in my opinion -priceless.
Last point,a massive pat on the back for Jason Puncheon-premier class without a doubt.

For 15m plus Noble and one of their centre backs i'd do a deal for Lambert otherwise Allardyce can keep his hands off

Not for Sale, no chance not this window

However, the summer? I wouldn't be s sure especially if we stay up. Cortese is ruthless there is a clear direction on what he wants, young players who can be sold on, hence the purchases of Lee, Mayuka,J Rod etc

Sir Ricky will be 31 in Feb and if Saints get a decent £6, £7m offer in the summer I reckon they will take it

If it happens Ill be devestated living where I do I work with a lot of Gasheads (Bristol Rovers) and they still love him, they were gutted when he left and told me what a player he was. I didnt see him until Leyton Orient away his first season when he scored twice to get us a point from 2 down.

The man is a living Saints legend he should never be sold, but under Corteses nothing is forever
