Fair comment...the fact remains that we can't go out and buy a Prem side off the shelf....we still need to evolve and learn. I'd be satisfied with a quality CB...and A N Other to bolster the squad.
The rest is down to our continued progression. I see Gazza as our future keeper...behind a quality defence....

Obviously not all down to 1 player but like Newcastle, without or main men we haven't got much as back up. We need to ship a lot out and require a cb, lb, gk at the very least. Would be nice to get players in other areas but not as urgent. Adkins unlike other managers has not built from the back, resulting in a loss in confidence as we are prone to the odd bashing (arsenal away). We had just restored that confidence but not sure what this result will do. Fingers crossed for quick dealings in this window but I will not hold my breathe.

Fair comment...the fact remains that we can't go out and buy a Prem side off the shelf....we still need to evolve and learn. I'd be satisfied with a quality CB...and A N Other to bolster the squad.
The rest is down to our continued progression. I see Gazza as our future keeper...behind a quality defence....

QPR are proof that making wholesale changes do not work. We have to be careful what characters are bought to the team and do not spoil team spirit.
