AC Milan have scotched rumours in Italy that they are interested in signing Gaston Ramirez from Saints.
The Rossoneri were reported to be looking at a possible move for the Uruguayan, who only moved to St Mary's from Bologna in the summer.
Saints have no desire to sell their club-record £12m signing and Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admitted the Italian giants were not looking to bring the 22-year-old to the San Siro.
"Gaston Ramirez? No, we are fine as we are," he is quoted as saying.
Milan's neighbours Inter are also rumoured to have an eye on Ramirez and are said to be thinking of offering attacking midfielder Ricardo Alvarez in a swap deal, although that is unlikely to tempt Saints.
