So do I but I'm getting anxious that we still haven't done any deals yet in the transfer window. Is Cortese driving too hard a bargain?

Maybe Cortese is driving too hard a bargain but with the public perception that Saints are a "wealthy club" he may feel he is "being taken for a ride" and react accordingly. His position is also not helped by the fact that Saints are in a precarious league position and club chairmen could be looking for a "quick buck" at Saints' expense.

Chillax people...these things take time to iron out the finer details. I expect the contracts that Cortese draws up are very complex with lots of performance related bonuses, etc. so none of our signings will happen overnight.

I think we will bring in 2 centrebacks as Forren is left footed. Although Yoshida can play on both sides.

We aren't going to get anyone in time for tonight, we have to go out with what we have at the moment and try and get something from a good Chelsea team, if we get anything from the game tonight it has to be seen as a bonus. after tonight we have 4 whole days and i would expect us to sign 1 if 2 not two players come Everton game. COYR.

Ive heard that he started his medical today at 10am, that lasts for about half a day (slightly more than a few star jumps and taking his temperature) and it should be finished within the hour.
Then I think he is going up to the Chelsea game to watch his new team mates!

This medical seems to be taking a long time.

Past few signings have been announced quite late (with the exception of Gaston o Transfer Deadline Day) thinking its usually after the Echo goes to Press (Mayaka for one)

If he is in the stands tonight its a done deal cos the press will be waiting to see
