Winchester is set to host the British Army versus Scotland in an evening of boxing.
The event, at Sir John Moore Barracks, home of the Army Training Regiment in Winchester, on Wednesday night, will see the Army’s boxing team will go head to head with Scotland’s over six bouts.
There will be two light heavy weight contests, three at middleweight and one at welter weight.
The evening provides the opportunity to lay on a display of high-level boxing and gives the recruits at the training centre an insight into some of the core qualities they can expect to develop as they advance in their Army careers.
Proceeds from the evening are to be donated to the Army Benevolent Fund, The Soldiers’ Charity.
