Puncheon agrees new Saints deal

JASON PUNCHEON JASON PUNCHEON

Saints star Jason Puncheon has agreed a new deal to stay at the club for another three years.

The 26 year-old winger is delighted to be committed to the club until July 2016.

He said: "It feels amazing. It's obviously been a worry because my contract was up at the end of the season.

"It's a weight off my mind, now I can look forward to the long-term future. The club has a vision of playing European football and that's why I've signed."

It gets better and better, "soon be wearing black and white" it was said, well you got that wrong! Just hope Punchy appreciates his good fortune and doesn't get into a comfort zone and then fails to give his all for the team.

Woo Hoo! All coming together.

There seems to be a confidence amongst the players that we're staying up.

I, too, hope this doesn't make Punch sit back and relax; his recent form has been excellent but needs to continue.

Hurrah for Punch - the prodigal son is not only back, he's here to stay.

That's the way to do it!

Batter them tomorrow Punch - but no going off for sausages mate.

Fair play to Punch, well deserved.

Just remembered what MGRA quoted he is not hungry for any contract.... he could walk into 1 of 10 Premier League clubs for next season on a nice deal. If we keep our players fit and keep as we are then we are staying up so the only reason JP has not put pen to paper is that he has not been offered a good enough deal as he sees it...He should have been offered the best possible since he is one of our best players with a release clause if we get relegated. Its not rcket science but the fact he is not nailed down means the expectations of the club and his are not at a joining point. I wish him to stay but I have a feeling he will go, and jungle drums are suggesting 2 clubs...” Good stuff mate.

Oh me likey !!
Another statement of intent from NC-very good news.
Just a bit of an explanation for the skunts-we have offered him what is called a 'contract'. In this 'contract', he has agreed to continue to keep playing for the best team on the South coast, for 3 more years, turnig down interest from probably several Premier league clubs, and will get paid for it too! Can you imagine it, little skunties?
There's a whole other world out there eh?!
Hope to see Jason tear twitchy's boys a new arsenal-hole tomorrow, and send us where belong in mid table!

What do I know?
Still not certain he has an improvement.
Still, be nice for him to get another goal against a previous employer and not celebrate!
Yea right?

Staying in the league is the goal for this season. If we don't want to push on from that next season and thereafter there is absolutely no point to any of this.

He's trying but Theborer's agent is Solent Interiors and they are playing hard ball.

(What people don't realise is they are from Gosport and deserve to go bust.)

Awesome. Apparently the QPR squad has spent the week on a five-day bender in Dubai and the dressing room is split into cliques that hate each other. I predict quite an easy win.

Result!

I understand that negotiations have been protracted because of the ongoing problems with JP's sphincter. Every time he came close to signing, the process was interrupted by Punch's need to pinch one off!
It turns out that the problems initiate from his favourite coffee which is difficult to purchase and so has been provided by a friend, none other than Alan Pardew (hence his non-appearance in last week's game) who has been lacing supplies with Extremo-lax.

Jason was asked "How's the anus-hole". After initially saying he didn't think they would make top 4 this year and realising his mistake he said (as can be seen in the story above) "It feels amazing. It's obviously been a worry because my contract was up at the end of the season.
It's a weight off my mind, now I can look forward to the long-term future.

Just like you guys to know the facts!
