Couldn't agree more. NA was getting the most from the squad and I fear we've taken a big step backwards and a time in the season when stability would have been much more valuable than revolutionary change. I genuinely hope that MP is more than a one trick pony but am beginning to feel that he is somewhat lacking tactically. It took NA a while to work out the Premier League and think that MP is now doing the same at a time when we can't afford to drop points. I'm very worried that Cortese's gamble will backfire and see us back in the Championship next season.

I do actually Mark.

It was indeed a lack lustre performance today, no passion, not even from Rickie. However, despite this and utilising the managers tactics we still had 70% possession, more shots on goal, etc etc.
Our problem is finishing imo, not the manager.
Thanks for the compliment by the way, not so long ago I was classed as a doom n gloomer as I wasn't a fan of Nigel's tactics so things really have gone full swing!
This is the first under performance with MP, in no way indicative of things to come and blame cannot be placed at his door.
As for the Chairman, he may have made a mistake or he may have saved the day, it could be the worst thing or the best thing for SFC. Either way he does what he does for the sake of the club which he believes in and is probably more ambitious than many fans so that's good enough for me.

We were no better off with Nigel, you may say things might have improved, I could say he already cost us too much, it's all conjecture. We have what we have. Get behind the team.

That was me, and I will in contrast to you stay civil. You are borderline on not deserving a reply but it will probably be the only attention you get today so I take pity and type. If you are right we will lose 11 more games, which we won't. It was clear we were by far the better team even though we were not at our best today. You don't always have to be bitter, try to relax once in a while it might be worth a try.

It was indeed a lack lustre performance today, no passion, not even from Rickie. However, despite this and utilising the managers tactics we still had 70% possession, more shots on goal, etc etc.
Our problem is finishing imo, not the manager.
Thanks for the compliment by the way, not so long ago I was classed as a doom n gloomer as I wasn't a fan of Nigel's tactics so things really have gone full swing!
This is the first under performance with MP, in no way indicative of things to come and blame cannot be placed at his door.
As for the Chairman, he may have made a mistake or he may have saved the day, it could be the worst thing or the best thing for SFC. Either way he does what he does for the sake of the club which he believes in and is probably more ambitious than many fans so that's good enough for me.

We were no better off with Nigel, you may say things might have improved, I could say he already cost us too much, it's all conjecture. We have what we have. Get behind the team.

Everyone was quiet at newcastle too....my team, my city, but at times i despair of those who turn up expecting to be 'entertained' and do not grasp that they need to do their bit....

..our crowd issue is demographic....

I was at the game again yesterday and i will tell you what i honestly think was the main problem, the fans. The team had an off day which is too be expected at some point because we cant perform every game and since MP has been appointed our performances have been not far from exceptional. Yes, the game was a must win but football just doesnt work like that does it. Now yes, the fans did turn up yesterday in their numbers, which was great, and could have been the game changer but it turnt out that most of the fans just turnt up because they expected an easy 3 points and really they should've just stayed at home. We had the numbers but the atmosphere was absolutely shocking!! No one got behind the team and if there was any noise it was only aimed towards redknapp. It was a big game where the atmosphere needed to be identical to the man city game and it was just depressing. Okay, the players had an off day but i would put it down to the poor lack of support and its not the 1st time at home this has happened. Im fed up with hearing that its down to the fans being "nervous". Its time to start gettin behind the lads, especially at home, from start to finish. Dont get me wrong, we have great fans and a great following but games like yesterday, we needed to turn up and we just didnt. COME ON LADS!! lets have it the rest of the season and see our boys through!

If pompey are thrown out of the league the council will withdraw the loan offer - it is one of their published terms and conditions. You will then go bust.

Does anyone either live in the Portsmouth Council area or run a business in that area?

I am willing to fund a legal challenge by a tax payer of their intended loan. They need an injunction slapped on them to prevent them going ahead with it. It will probably ultimately fail but it will cause a mortal delay.
