A film-maker is planning to “shine a light on the talented music scene in York” through a new documentary film.
James Arden, director and founder of York Acoustic, a local live music video project, says Keep The Home-Fires Burning will follow York-based musicians on tour to Leeds, London and Brighton.
“Our cameras will take viewers from bustling bars and pubs to backstage at festivals, into BBC studios and behind-the-scenes for album recordings,” he said.
He said funds were being raised for the film through IndieGoGo and anyone wanting to get involved and contribute should go to indiegogo.com/yorkacoustic.
