Matt was set up on those 'clear the air talks' , that was never going to happen... and it was not him who chickened out of that face-to-face meeting, all that bollux regarding it had to be done in secret was just a smoke screen, many people have private meetings with people that are kep private apart from what is agreed to be published etc etc , the whole thing was just SFC spin.... regards your other points, yes I think you maybe right if I am honest...

Oddly enough, initially I admit I was supportive of Rupert, in my ignorance I had got it wrong, it was people explaining what was going on that swayed me to go in the right direction, using proof and quoting sources to prove the point, in the end we won the day did we not?. Similar situation here, until someone can prove to me with categorical evidence that there is wrong doing at the top, I will give NC the benefit of the doubt. Can't go on inuendo and personal issues from individuals, it doesn't work like that. I still respect MLT big time, but am not happy with a couple of things that have been said by him, it's no big deal. You call me obsessive, well you are not exactly showing a liberal attitude with the bias posting that you have put on here recently, just maybe you are misguided, maybe you are right, only time will tell, but repeating the same thing over and over again, won't solve it. something else I seem to in minority on with loads of others online it seems is refs and rules ! I have refereed probably about 200-300 games of football over the years. Under the laws of the game, Nani's foul was a clear red card, intent has nothing to do with it. Also Fox's handball was not a penalty since under the laws of the game you can not award a foul for accidental handball.....handbal

Matt was set up on those 'clear the air talks' , that was never going to happen... and it was not him who chickened out of that face-to-face meeting, all that bollux regarding it had to be done in secret was just a smoke screen, many people have private meetings with people that are kep private apart from what is agreed to be published etc etc , the whole thing was just SFC spin.... regards your other points, yes I think you maybe right if I am honest...

You call me obsessive, well you are not exactly showing a liberal attitude with the bias posting that you have put on here recently, just maybe you are misguided, maybe you are right, only time will tell, but repeating the same thing over and over again, won't solve it. Take the advice of other posters if you can't accept my polite request to give it a rest, perhaps you could listen to them? Not too much to ask is it?

holding Nigel on the payroll is not wrong to you then ? dumping on his career is fine is it ? or are you saying you actually need to see the contract with ink on it ? I am not sure you can square your position on Rupert you know, because he did nothing illegal, he was just steering the club the way he saw fit,,, so you were not with the club in its entirety then... but you and others say that was ok then , but its not for me now !? Its fine now I know that people can pick and choose when its fine to be 100% behind the club.... for the record I was not a fan of Rupert Lowe, I think his motives were misguided often and he lost sight of the needs of the club....but a lot written about him was just rumour and gossip... very few articles of "proof" emerged to hold water. What it comes down to really is that you want me to "give it a rest" because you either A. think I am a liar ,,,, or B. you know I am not and it bothers you..... now I come to think about it, thats fair enough. You know what can and can't be posted here (despite some of the things you have said) so its easier to have me penned as a liar than not.... So like the others, stick with liar,,, that coupled with a noce hot milky drink should bother you a lot less.... ;0)

there is also the very strange situation whereby some will deride as gossip/rumour/sh8t stirring that which they say has no proof to suit, then accept what they want to hear with no proof that which they wish to hear to suit their loyalty. The MLT-NC meet that was never going to happen a case in hand. Everyone accepts a version of events without a shred of proof, just to suit the comfort zone. This is not surprising at all of course, its how labour got to power and stayed there for 13 years. Its called spin. Finally an observation that I find quite strange really, in a world where information part in confidence and part in public is key to how organisations and businesses function, why is proof required all the time by some. Why not just accept something for what it is , speculation, assumption, conjecture, conclusions.... nothing has to be proven absolutely all of the time for people to talk about subjects. Is this not after all what football thrives on and UK newspapers exist for. There is not a single UK national newpaper for instance that had not got an ajenda other than to purely print the "news". I find this pretty interesting really. I am not offended by being called a liar on here, its not a problem, but is a bit odd really given all the double standards I keep seeing. I think the non-pompey posters on here are 95% top people, very funny, very articulate and very knowledgable but the automatic resistance to some topics I think stange sometimes. No offence intended by any of this by the way, just friendly discussion.....

It seems Matt Le Tiss pretty much admitted he blew it with regards to the meeting. He tweeted on Feb 6th:

"I must learn to not be so open when doing fans question and answer sessions, my mistake, apologies to all involved #wonthappenagain"

He has never denied the club accusations that he acted contrary to their agreement to keep it confidential. If it were not true this would be totally out of character for him vocal as he is.

A poll at the time only showed 30% of fans in Le Tiss's corner over this.

It is a shame because if the gap could be bridged it could be fantastic!
