Saints defender Danny Fox is one of three players to have pulled out of the Scotland squad ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Wales and Serbia.

The Scottish FA confirmed today that the left-back, who has been suffering from a thigh injury, had withdrawn from international duty.

Ross McCormack and James Forrest have also pulled out of former Saints boss Gordon Strachan's group.

Norwich defender Steven Whittaker has been drafted in ahead of the clash with Wales, at Hampden Park, on Friday night.

I wouldn't play him as long as he has a hole in his ar53! He's a liability, far worse than benali ever was. I'd shift clyne over there and put Richardson or cork at right back any time.
