HAMPSHIRE are set to face Alastair Cook when they play their third LV County Championship match of the season against Essex at the end of next month.

The England captain has been made available for the division two clash at Chelmsford from April 29- May2.

But Cook will not be available to play against Hampshire when they begin the defence of their Yorkshire Bank 40 title on Friday, May 3.
