I hope that this will encourage Saints fans to take more interest in the other squads within the Club, I am always amazed at people who post on the site that have no idea who we have in the wings, blinkered views of first teamers only.

So, we had two midfielders starting for the England U19s last night and but for Luke Shaw's injury would have had two fullbacks starting for the U21s as well We just have to get Adam and Rickie into the full England side and we can feel that we have made our contribution to the national game this week. Plus Theo and Alex of course....

Think people do but cause there not in the limelight then there is not much to say but if they do good then theres praised up ...but playing for the under 19s doesn't mean there make the grade
as of yet then we live in hope

Calum Chambers isn't a midfielder, in fact I don't think Saints know what position to play him in. This season he's played right back, right midfield, centre midfield, & centre half! Last night against Turkey he played right back for England. It'll be interesting to see how he develops although at 18 you would think he'd know what he position actually is!

From the sound of it, it seems his position absolutely right.
