Boogie on down the Avenue of nostalgia

8:00am Thursday 4th April 2013

A FRESH, new vocal and dance show is coming to the Princess Theatre in Burnham this Saturday.

There are only a few tickets left for Pop and Chips with Boogie Avenue (pictured), which promises to take you on a nostalgic journey though the ’60s, 70s, and 80s to the times of rock ’n’ roll, disco, glam rock and 80s pop.

The cabaret-style event includes table-served sausage and chip meals, a raffle and licensed bar. The show is presented by Moose International and is raising money for a number of good causes.

Event organizer Terry Cornelius said: “This promises to be yet another evening to remember and will raise much-needed funds for Burnham’s Gateway club, Brainwave, and various Moose charities.”

The show is at 7pm on April 6 and tickets cost £11. For more information about the group visit www.boogieavenue.co.uk or to book tickets go to princesstheatreandartscentre.co.uk.
