Braintree: Football club's cup exploits remembered on Wembley Way
Appearing in an FA Cup final might be a distant dream for Braintree Town, but the club’s feats took pride of place along Wembley Way at the weekend.
A photographic mural of this season’s competition, from the qualifying rounds to the final, adorned the passageway from Wembley Park tube station to the stadium.
The Iron’s televised fixture against Tranmere Rovers in November was chosen to showcase the cup’s first round.
Club chairman Lee Harding said: "It is always great to be associated with the best cup competition in the world."
