A MAN who assaulted a pensioner outside a Wirral supermarket is wanted by police.
Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following the incident, which took place on March 20.
The victim - a 68-year-old from Birkenhead - was kicked and punched as he went into a supermarket in Borough Road, by one of two men who had also verbally assaulted him.
The man who attacked him is thought to have had a Staffordshire-style dog with him at the time.
