Willow Burn Hospice will stage its summer fair at St Bede’s School, Lanchester, from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, July 13. This is a change of venue as it has previously been held at the hospice. The event will be an opportunity for patients, visitors, volunteers, supporters and staff to come together and join in the fun, with proceeds going to the charity. MUSICAL EVENING:

A musical evening will be held at Roseberry Community and Sixth Form College in Pelton, near Chester-le-Street at 7.30pm, from Wednesday July 3 to Saturday, July 6. POLICE MEETING:

A public meeting for people in the Esh area to discuss concerns about crime is being held at Langley Park and District Community Centre, Wood View, Langley Park, from 6pm-7pm on Tuesday July 2.

The meeting will be attended by a representative from the neighbourhood policing team and will be specific to the area. Individual neighbourhood priorities will be discussed. All members of the community are welcome.

COFFEE MORNING:

A church fundraiser is being held at could St Patrick’s RC Church Hall from 11.30am-1.30pm on July 20. There will be coffee, tea and juice as well as cakes and pies on sale.
