AFC Totton knocked out of Red Insure Cup
AFC TOTTON fell at the first hurdle in the Red Insure Cup last night, beaten 3-1 at home by Wimborne Town in the preliminary round.
Jamie Davidson opened the scoring on eight minutes and Matt Kemble soon added another as the Magpies dominated the first period against a Totton side that play a tier above them in the Southern Premier Division.
Totton improved in the second half and pulled one back through Luke Roberts on 70 minutes.
Salisbury City climbed to fourth in the Skrill Conference Premier, beating Hyde 2-0 at the Ray Mac through Ben Wright (penalty) and Chris McPhee.
