Rich Seed and his dad, Jim, who purchased Hordle Lakes in recent years, have been concentrating on turning Bobs Lake on the fishery’s complex into a specialist carp water. High quality bait and feed has improved the overall size of the carp on Bobs Lake in leaps and bounds over the last two years, as has the removal of smaller carp and silver fish. The final piece of the jigsaw came when a batch of carp between 15lb and 18lb were stocked by New Forest specialist carp suppliers Heather Fisheries.
