Millbrook head north to Andover as the battle for Snows Group Hampshire 1 supremacy continues.

Leaders Andover have had to win six games on the bounce to earn a one-point advantage at the top since their shock defeat against the Isle of Wight.

Victory for Brook could put them top, but previous Hampshire 1 pacesetters Team Solent will fancy their chances at bottom side Overton.

Millbrook captain Mike Randell said: “The first game back after the new year is always a tough one, but this is a huge game in terms of league standings.

“We have done well at Andover and won the plate final there last year, so I anticipate a good, and undoubtedly muddy, game this weekend.”

Fourth-placed Fordingbridge still have their eye on top place and automatic promotion and head to Farnborough tomorrow.

In Snows Group Hampshire 2, Petersfield will try to take advantage of the fixtures by beating Fawley and taking top spot off Fareham Heathens, who are without a game.

Locks Heath can close in on the leading two with a win at Aldershot & Fleet.
