THERE will be three Portsmouth area sides battling to walk out at Fratton Park in the 2013/14 Hampshire FA Senior Cup final.

Havant & Waterlooville were the first to book their semi-final place on Monday night – Nic Ciardini netting twice against his old club in a 3-0 cruise over Farnborough at Westleigh Park.

Perry Ryan had opened the scoring as the Hawks celebrated manager Lee Bradbury signing a new deal that will tie him to the club until at least May 2016.

Joining Havant in the last four are fellow Conference South side Gosport Borough who overcame AFC Bournemouth’s development squad 2-0 through Jack Barton and Tim Sills and Graham Rix’s Sydenhams Wessex charges AFC Portchester who saw off Petersfield Town 3-1 courtesy of Garry Moody, Danny Audin and Simon Woods.

Sam Martin replied from the penalty spot for Petersfield and Portchester’s Simon Stone was sent off late on.

The semi-final line-up is completed by Basingstoke Town who edged Wessex underdogs Whitchurch United 2-1 at Longmeadow.

Whitchurch’s Nic Turpin cancelled out ex-Saint Jordace Holder-Spooner’s 15th-minute opener before Kezie Ibe restored Basingstoke’s lead on 53 minutes.
