FA TROPHY semi-finalists Gosport Borough let slip a two-goal lead at home to Sutton United in the Skrill Conference South tonight.

The relegation strugglers looked good for all three points when Sammy Igoe (penalty) and Mike Gosney scored inside 39 minutes, but Simon Downer pulled one back for Paul Doswell’s Us in first-half stoppage time before ex-Eastleigh striker Jamie Slabber levelled 2-2.

On-loan Gosport striker Justin Bennett plundered a hat-trick on his Poole Town debut as Tom Killick’s Dolphins triumphed 5-1 at Bedford in the Calor Southern Premier.

Eastleigh’s SCS match against Dover Athletic, postponed tonight due to a waterlogged pitch at the Silverake, has been rearranged for Tuesday, April 15
