A PROTEST will take place when a police chief appears in court charged in connection with the fatal shooting of an armed robbery suspect who came from Bolton.
Anthony Grainger’s family will protest outside the Crown Prosecution offices in Manchester on Monday.
It will coincide with Greater Manchester Chief Constable Peter Fahy’s appearance at Westminster court in London, charged with failing to discharge a duty under health and safety regulations.
Mr Grainger, aged 36, formerly from Deane, was shot dead by a police officer during an operation on March 3, 2012, in Warrington.
