DANI Osvaldo had a goal disallowed and also hit a post on his Juventus debut this afternoon.

The Saints loanee striker was introduced as a second half sub for Fernando Llorente in a 2-2 draw at Hellas Verona.

With Juve leading 2-1, Osvaldo was unlucky not to score in the 69th minute, latching onto a pass from Andrea Pirlo and crashing a shot against a post.

The Italian then had a goal disallowed for offside.

Carlos Tevez had put the Serie A leaders 2-0 up inside the first half hour.

Hellas striker Luca Toni reduced the arrears early in the second half. And just when Juve looked to be heading for their 20th win of the campaign, sub Juan Gomez Taleb headed Romulo's cross in for a draw.

The outcome in Verona has left Juve nine points clear of second-place Roma, who were held to a goalless result at Lazio.

Roma have a game in hand.

Maybe if he'd tracked back a bit the second goal wouldn't have been scored.

Everybody, get onto the Juventus website now and post messages saying what a wonderful performance it was by Osvaldo. We need to dupe them into paying us the 18 million Euro in May to keep him!!

Move on end of story sadly but here's the latest on BBC Football gossip, David Moyes has £45 million to spend and can buy Seamus Coleman and Luke Shaw, what comes to mind, will he kidnap Luke bundle him in the boot of his Car and drive off? No Luke can't wait to play for Man United not, David Moyes I have some information for you, Luke signed a 5 years contract last year and loves Southampton FC and is very happy, he loves Mauricio Potchettino and all his Team mates so for goodness bog off and find some others to get up there noses

There is also a story about Wenger wanting Calum Chambers with £10mil being talked about. I think it's great that they always assume that our players will be off at the first mention of big club interest. Even if they want to go we currently have an owner who understands what a contract is and that players can be held to them. So bog off Chelski, ManC, Arse, Liverpool,Spuds and Manure.

You have to remember that when a player signs a five year contract it doesn't mean he wants to play for that club for five years. He can still move when he likes. What it does mean is the club can get a premium price for him when they sell him. It works two ways, job security for the player and maximum transfer revenue for the selling club. its not an indication of loyalty to the club over the term of the contract by the player.
