Hampshire felt the full force of leaders Cornwall in a clash of the top two in Division 1 of the Riley’s British Inter County League.
The west country side kept their place at the summit with a 22-14 away victory.
Hampshire’s women’s B side lost out 4-2 with Sam Pike and Sue Lowther, pictured, winning.
Phil Harty, Ian Jopling, James Brooker and Brad Hatch won for the men’s B team as they lost out 8-4 and Wendy Reinstadtler was the only winner for the women’s A side as they were defeated 5-1.
The men’s A side did record a victory – Dave Bonnett, Sam Head, Steve Musson, Dennis Murrell, Kev Ede, Lee Ward and Martin Stead producing a 7-5 win.
