Gary Bowyer confirmed Blackburn Rovers' players went into the game last night expecting Watford to struggle with the aerial threat of Rudy Gestede.
Rovers were very direct at Vicarage Road and the tactic paid off as the Hornets' defence struggled to cope during the 3-3 draw.
Blackburn manager Bowyer said: "We felt with the big man (Rudy Gestede) and how he is that if we got the ball in the box then we would have a great opportunity to score a goal and fortunately for us right at the death it proved right. Any ball that went into the box caused them problems tonight."
