COMMUNITY, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations in Pendle are invited to apply for funding from Pendle Council’s small grants fund.
The council has set aside £20,000 to support the work of these groups.
Dean Langton, head of central and regeneration services, said: “We recognise the role that small voluntary, community and not-for-profit organisations play here in Pendle.
“They often operate under limited financial resources which is why we’re delighted to be able to lend them some support.”
A panel of four councillors has been appointed by the executive to review the bids and agree how the funding will be allocated.
Application forms can be downloaded from Pendle’s website at www.pendle.gov.uk/ smallgrantsfund, or groups can call 01282 661878 for an application form. The closing date for all applications is Friday, May 23, and the successful organisations will hear in June.
