Former Brighton manager Oscar Garcia wants to be the next boss of Saints, if Mauricio Pochettino leaves the club, so say the Daily Star today.

According to them, Pochettino is poised to make a decision on his future this week, with the Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, "determined" to bring him to White Hart Lane.

Garcia left Brighton earlier this month, after they lost in the Championship play-off semi-finals to Derby. Hardly surprising he'd be keen on a move to Saints, then.

Apparently, the Star reckon the Spaniard is on a shortlist of potential Pochettino replacements at St Mary's.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mirror have Saints being "locked in a signing war" with West Ham over Nice left-back Timothee Kolodziejczak.

Given the length of his name, he probably would have quite a signature. Whether it's worth starting a war over is another matter, though.

In what would no doubt come as a relief to television and radio commentators if he does sign, the 22-year-old Frenchman is apparently known as 'Kolo' for short.
