MICHAEL Carberry will miss Hampshire’s next two games after being named in England’s squad for the remainder of the One-day series against Sri Lanka.
Carberry was replaced by Alastair Cook for yesterday’s record-breaking win against Sri Lanka but has been retained in a 14-man squad for the last two ODIs.
That means he will miss tomorrow’s Natwest T20 Blast match against Essex and the LV County Championship match against Derbyshire, which begins on Sunday.
But, like Glenn Maxwell, he will be available for the T20 Blast game against Kent next Thursday.
