SAINTS are being linked with Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.
The Mexico forward - who celebrated his 26th birthday last weekend - is currently preparing for his country's World Cup adventure.
He has scored 37 Premier League goals for the Red Devils in four full seasons at Old Trafford, having made 48 starts and 53 more appearances off the bench.
The man nicknamed 'Little Pea' netted nine goals in 35 league and cup outings last season, but only four of the goals came in the league.
Saints are reportedly keen to bring Hernandez to St Mary's as part of any deal that takes England left back Luke Shaw to Manchester.
