That's Bournemouth's cup final sorted for the season then :-)

It's a shame some of their fans come on here 'giving it large' as I think most Saints fans still like the club.

Of the South Coast clubs, Bournemouth's your kid brother who tries to copy you, walking across the tops of walls, only to get scared, pee his pants, and have to be carried down. Portsmouthhis the grotesque simpleton brother, spawn of a drunken night your father spent down the docks with something hideously unhealthy and well worn, the brother who turns up every so often when he's home from the remand centre, wears an electronic tag and isn't allowed to walk you to school.

Internet rumour sites, 1+1=5.

Its good to have a decent local rival again and one that plays in a better league.
Apparently poopey were being considered for a pre season friendly but the U18's wanted a more challenging fixture!

We are also playing Brighton and Swindon, don't think we brought any players from them with or without sell on clauses.
Perhaps we are playing Brighton because we are going to name the former Brighton boss as manager and Swindon because we are fed up with clubs 'robin' us blind :-D

Sounds like this could be a good day out, how much do we think tickets will be? Nice little stadium could actually be a decent atmosphere considering it's a friendly. Am well excited, wish we did this sort of thing with Pompey.

Always given a good game against Bournemouth. Our under 8's can play poopy (will poopy also dare take on Eastleigh in their pre-season?) now that will be a stern test for those one the wrong side of the Solent.
Pity Koeman is not in place to make a really good pre-season line up, love to see Dutch teams come and play us as when next season closes we will be in the champions league, thus playing the best teams in europe. Spuds on the other hand will be fighting to stay in the prem after their failure in the europa league. Whoever we take on as we proved last season we are capable of winning against any team. With the right infusion of players we will be right up there.
