Gastón Ramírez started for Uruguay in last night’s 2-0 win against Slovenia, as the Saints playmaker continued to warm up for the World Cup.
Ramírez played the first 45 minutes in Montevideo, before being substituted.
He also started in last Friday’s 1-0 victory against Northern Ireland.
Uruguay’s goals last night came courtesy of Edinson Cavani and Ramírez’s replacement, Christian Stuani.
Uruguay, who are grouped with England in Brazil, begin their World Cup campaign against Costa Rica next Saturday.
