AMID Salisbury City’s financial troubles, the club has lost two of its defenders to Sutton United.
Right-back Luke Ruddick, 24, and 28-year-old Callum Hart, who plays on the left and had been with Salisbury for three seasons, have moved to Gander Green Lane.
Paul Doswell, the Conference South club's manager, said: “These are two good signings of players who have played at a higher level and were very keen to join us.”
Salisbury were relegated from the Conference Premier to the Conference South when the club failed to pay players’ wages before the Conference deadline.
The club has until July 4 to pay its debts and a £50,000 bond or it could be expelled from the Conference entirely.
