Saints manager Ronald Koeman to step up bid to sign Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic

Daily Echo: Graziano Pelle Graziano Pelle

Saints are today expected to confirm Adam Lallana’s move to Liverpool and are stepping up their attempts to land Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic as Ronald Koeman officially starts work.

St Mary’s skipper Lallana has passed a medical at Anfield and agreed personal terms on a blockbuster contract.

Saints have accepted a fee of £25m plus add-ons, with Bournemouth receiving 25 per cent for the sell-on clause they insisted upon when selling him as a 12-year-old. That means the Cherries bag £6.25m while Saints collect £18.75m.

Unless there is any unforeseen last second hitch, the move will be confirmed by both clubs today.

It is probably not exactly the way Koeman would have dreamed of marking his first day proper at Saints as some of the players begin to return to the upgraded Staplewood training ground for pre-season to meet their new manager.

However, with Saints now desperate to recruit having also lost Rickie Lambert and Luke Shaw this summer, there are moves in the pipeline.

As previously reported in the Daily Echo, Saints have been eyeing deals for both Pelle and Tadic.

Now they are stepping up their efforts to sign the pair.

The Daily Echo understands that talks are talking place with Feyenoord and FC Twente over possible moves with Koeman keen to dip into a potential £100m war chest – comprising all the money raised from player sales this summer and funds that were already earmarked for squad investment – and make them his first Saints signings.

Pelle, a 6ft 4in powerhouse of a striker, was signed for Feyenoord by Koeman, and is understood to be keen to link up again with his former boss.

He bagged an impressive 23 goals in 28 games last season and is just the type of player Saints fans will be keen to see arrive to replace the talismanic Lambert.

His record for Feyenoord is a fantastic 55 goals in 66 games, making him one of the hottest talents in the Eredivisie.

The Italy born striker has represented his country up to under-21 level and in the 2008 Olympics.

He also worked with Koeman during his brief spell in charge of AZ Alkmaar.

Tadic is a 25-year-old playmaker who was the fourth top scorer in the Eredivisie last season, including two goals against Koeman’s Feyenoord on the opening day of the last campaign.

The Serbian also boasted the most assists in the Dutch top flight last season.

Pelle is rated at around £8m while Saints will be negotiating hard over Tadic.

Though the talented creative force has previously been touted as having a £10m price tag, he only has one year remaining on his current contract.

Both coming from a weak league
It doesn't matter if they both scored 300 in a season,it is not a high standard.
Really worried Ronald is bringing in theses types of players.
Yeah people want good news and to see us sign someone but I still believe Ronald"take a Selfie" koeman is not the man for the job and he is bringing in flat track bullies.
Why wasn't pelle at the World Cup with Italy? He wasn't even considered.why? Because he's rubbish.

Yes a striker & creative goal scoring midfielder, next a LB, CB, GK and pacy good crossing winger ! Total expenditure about £45m.
Sell or part exchange Osvaldo and a couple of fringe players and job done, unless Lovren still wants to leave we will replace him with his fee.

Since the tide went out we have been riding the crest of a wave for the last 5 years so maybe we are now setting up to ride the next one !

Lallana really has changed - the ref was right. He spends as much time up his own arsche as anywhere else it seems.

Glad to see the back of him. I'd love to know when he first started scheming about going - when he picked up the award over Xmas? His job was to back the club regardless and help the club bring through the youngsters by setting an example. Say what you like about Gerrard but he has been a superb Skiverpool captain. Forget Lallana if this Tadic is half as good as they say he is we won't be mentioning him again.

Cork was a reject look what he turned into.

Ken Monkou came from that league, look what he turned into.

Osvaldo came from one of the best leagues and clubs and what the current Italian striker and look what he turned into.

Your argument as usual 2toilets is hugely flawed. Find a sewage plant to play in please.

Why weren't these deals agreed weeks ago before we sold players?

We have put ourselves in a weak position if those clubs/players agents plays hardball over costs/signing on fees etc.

What has happen to a new left back ? Are we after Blind or the Full Back from Nice ?

As with the Sammy Lee deal we seem to be waiting until the very last moment before even THINKING about making a decision.
Can we become "Pro-Active" rather than "Reactive" to events i.e. make Morgan captain; give him a new deal etc DO NOT wait until it is too late.

It will be a good start to the rebuilding of our squad if we can sign them.
Another striker as well would be most welcomed as well as a couple of centre backs , a left back and a keeper .
It will be an interesting few weeks with regards to who we will sign and will show what the intentions of our owner and board actually are .
Hopefully RK will get the full backing when trying to bring players in and he can bring in some quality replacements/additio

The above article has him as Rickie's replacement. Personally, I don't think Rickie IS replaceable. I'm not saying we should have held onto him, his years were beginning to tell. The thing is he's so much more than just a big, goal-scoring striker. If Pelle bags the goals and can do half the other stuff that Rickie did, then he'll be okay - I hope he can hit a good penalty, too.

Well I think the chances are Morgan will go and Lovren. Maybe able to convince them to stay if we move forward quickly with good signings. In relation to the standard and league of players coming in, Lovren was said to be rubbish by many of the fans when he left his previous club look at him now.
As for Pelle only being said to score goals in a lower league, shrugs, was that not said of RL when we cam up from div 1 and the championship..Pelle is wanted by several clubs but apparently he feels his future is linked to Koeman's. Tadic may be harder buy cos he is wanted by several clubs.
I still would not be surprised to see Osvaldo get another chance at the moment his value and the demand for him has sunk to rock bottom. he has gone from a star to an also ran. If that does not make him look at himself and realise he has to change then nothing will. Yet bing honest who would want him at the moment even for 7 million?

Suddenly the sun is shining, the birds are twittering and Lallana's had his car radio nicked and all four wheels have been replaced with bricks up at his new home. Oh Joy! Jonny7oma

Lallana owes Saints nothing. He has the right to change his employer as much as any other employee in any other job. If he had stayed with us and started to tail off and put in poor performances you two would have been the first to say get rid of him. He gave us good service and we've got a good price for him. He owes us nothing.

It's only supporters who stay with clubs forever, not players, owners, directors, managers and coaches.
Why sign a 5 year deal then

Lallana and Lambert gave us several years of good service. While I would have liked them to stay I appreciate their contribution in getting us where we now are. I feel no ill will to them and wish them well. Neither owe the club or the fans anything in my opinion. Infact it is us who owe them a debt of thanks.

Shaw left us too early and I would have liked to have seen him give us another years service. With that said, he is young, talented and ambitious and his dreams lay elsewhere. I can respect that. We got a very good price for him and his sale brought good money into the club.

A few years back Southampton were playing in "rubbish leagues" and most of our players came from "rubbish leagues" and yet we managed to do really welllast season. Pelle and Tadic could do very well for us. Were we to get them both for £20 million total that still leaves £80 million in the war chest. Get another 4-5 quality £10 million signings in and that would still leave us £30-40 million to splash out on 1-2 big players should we choose to.

In any case we can hopefully expect to see 8-10 players come in of reasonable quality. Im quite excited to see what we get and how Koeman can meld them together into an exciting winning team.

Yes and perhaps Italy should have taken Osvaldo as well. Couldn't have done worse than the big sulk they had upfront!
People make me laugh, they say Italy didn't take Osvaldo because of his attitude, yet they did take mario balotelli and he has a much bigger attitude problem than Osvaldo! Did everyone see the tweet he did of the panini sticker album where he stuck his sticker in the place of every other Italian player? Thats great for morale!
I did read somewhere that 2 teams are considering a move for Osvaldo, didn't see a price though!

Apparently we are also in for Axel Witsel but have to wait until after the world cup!

Why sign a 5 year deal then
Five year deals work both ways. They give the player an improved income and security. They give the club the ability to sell the player on for a large fee as compensation for losing his services.

I don't think many clubs expect players who sign five deals to stay with them for that period of time. It's something which suits both parties.

I don't think these days you can expect loyalty from players, they are guns for hire.

Sammy2sheds, you just tell that to Van Persie who came from Feyenoord to Arsenal and scored 96 goals in 190 appearances and Wilfried Bony who has 18 goals in 34 appearances and came straight from Vitesse Arneham

I'm a bit concerned about the above photo. It looks to me as if he is losing his balance and the way his teeth are sticking out he could inavertently fall into a defender , making it look as if he is actually biting him. If he comes that is deffo something for Big Ron to work on.

Lallana is a traitor - good riddance.

Don't agree, Lallana has always been a good player, because he has decided to leave you can't take that away from him. Its a gutter because we saw him doing a Le Tiss and being a one club player. I think coming up for 27 he decided if he wanedt CL football now he had to go, with Saints slowing down their push he took his chance when it came. Time is not on his side. He is though a good player rather than great player and has hit the revues because he is a flair two footed player. who is English. I would think Koeman has looked at Adam on tape and thought he could do better. England's rating on the world stage is almost as low as you can go and i doubt we had one player in the world cup who would make a sixth world eleven let alone a first world eleven. I think Adam has been persuaded to jump ship and I think it will be a move he regrets unlike Shaw.

ON the subject of Lallana, from what people have told me it really does look as though it has gone to his head. Gerrad is loyal to Liverpool but he has the same problem - Rolls Royce, he nightclub music incident, etc.

We only have to look at Channon, Tiss and others to see real loyalty and modesty! I know Mick Channon left for Man City but he was basically loyal to us and down to earth.

Lallana's a money grabbing traitorous scouse c u n t now, george chivers! Get over it and stop making up excuses for him.

You can't expect loyalty in today's game when our world is about trying to make as much money as possible. Everyone today is tricked into thinking money makes you happy! Maybe our youngsters need to be educated more as scholars so that they choose happiness over money, then greater success will come to all clubs in football not just the top 4/5 and the money will come later for the players, after you've earned it.

In our hearts we want Saints to become a household name for the right reasons. I am sure that people write these comments in good faith, hoping that influential people including players may be reading them.

Personally, I wouldn't have travelled the length and breadth of the country following Saints in my youth, spending all that money, if I wasn't Southampton through and through.

Right - hate to admit it but Clattenburg had a point. And I'm convinced AL has shot himself in the foot and will regret this for the rest of his playing days - writing already on the wall with an unconvincing world cup - this is probably good business or us - he became an a-r-s-e-h-o-l-e at the first whiff of fame.
Like the look of this Pelle and Tadic is a good footballer - thinks looking up if we can bring these two on board.

There's a good You Tube video of Pelle, no pressure on the guy but my immediate thought was Rickie Lambert V2!
Let's hope so, although (at the obvious risk of getting loads of immediate thumbs down for not being 100% sure about this) I've seen a few videos of this guy involving headbutts and kicking tunnel walls. Just hope he's not another Osvaldo.

Sadly that's the risk we're going to have to take with all our new signings, plus we are going to have to be realistic in the amount of players we bring in immediately.

While I'm sure many fans will want the board to spend, spend, spend to show they aren't just keeping the money, I do think we need to be careful and go for fewer signings, better quality.

For instance, an offer Swansea can't refuse for Bony or to Chelsea for Lukaku would mark our ambition, even if that means offering him big wages. Can't see us getting him with the competition from other clubs.

To be Rickie Lambert V2 is not just about quality on the pitch - the guy is a class act as a human being with the right attitude - a great ambassador for our club. That's going to be hard to replace but hopefully we will somehow pull it off, even if we won't be getting a like for like replacement.

It's not quite like that. I agree that employers can sack you, even with a contract, but this is about something more - even if he had been playing badly I am sure that he would not have been sold off but you never know.

What rankles is the message it sends out - that we are a selling club and that we will never reach the promised land, but the way you put it does make sense I suppose. We have built up our dreams and anything that is built up can always come tumbling down.

Maybe it is just inflated Sky coverage of these transfers, but I have to say I can't remember our previous big-money players being quite as smug and care free about their big moves as Adam and Luke.

The pair of them have hardly tried to conceal their delight during the whole period and haven't even attempted to show respect for the club or the fans.

Luke has just looked very ****-sure of himself ever since he joined up with England (done deal before hand maybe?) and likewise Adam, although I think their new found attitude has been reflected in their performances and, with Adam, seen him lose his nailed on starting place for England.

Didn't like to see them laughing and joking at the medicals. All very well as I'm sure they were excited about their big moves, but just a little disrespectful and undiplomatic.

Had they done things differently (Rickie being a good example) I'd have been happy to give them my blessing, especially Adam, but I feel he's done things in an unnecessarily shoddy way,

I'm sure they'll look at fans slagging them off and see it as proof they made the right choice, but they know as well as we do that had they dealt with things differently the fans would have respected their decisions a lot more because, certainly in Adam's case, he'd earned a lot of love and could have been cheered on his return. No chance of that now I'm afraid.

Lallana owes Saints nothing. He has the right to change his employer as much as any other employee in any other job. If he had stayed with us and started to tail off and put in poor performances you two would have been the first to say get rid of him. He gave us good service and we've got a good price for him. Lallana Facts:

Born Everton Fan, moved to Saints @12, heart surgery @17 signed Pro deal @18, Made captain and Saints joint top paid player £60k per week (208 times the “Living wage”), April 2013 agrees a new 5 year deal saying

“I've been at the Club since I was 12 and – being honest – I can only see my future lying with Southampton Football Club.

"If someone was to say that I'd end my career playing for Southampton in the Premier League then I'd snap your hand off for it.”

Selected for World Cup Squad 2014

June 2014 “Begs” for more money (290x Living wage) and “dream” move to Everton’s arch rivals L’Pool

He owes us respect, if nothing else

Could it be that Cortese's 'vision', which took over when the original 5 year plan was achieved in 3, was promising Champions League by the end of this season and why MP didn't want Europa League and why KL stepped him to stop him spending all the assets in January? Did he wind all our stars up and it's his fault they all want to leave now, mostly for CL? BTW, does anyone know what Cortese's 'vision' was?

Yes I agree with you.

What I find frustrating is that it happens. What we need if are going to be successful at the highest level is continuity and evolution, not revolution and disruption. Continuity as per, say Everton can bring us success, or at least, given we are a provincial club, relative success.

Let's hope this cycle is for 10 years not 5 years.

Just remember what League Suarez came from before Liverpool! He maybe a trouble maker on the field and a real mouth watering player to watch, But look at the goals he's scored when leaving Holland and coming to England. IMHO as well, I think you've got it wrong, You're saying Pelle isn't good enough to have been put into the Italian side. I thought Jack Cork was one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League last season, In fact, The last 2 seasons. He wasn't even considered or talked about being selected in WWoy's World Cup team. Manager's have their favourites and i'm sure that's one reason being why!

I think we should be a little more positive with who Koeman's wanting to bring. Yeah, Lallana isn't a player who can be easily replaced but he's someone whose given us the Money to add new additions to the squad!

He signed a contract last year for five years then instead of having the decency to request a transfer he started acting like a petulant child and stopped doing the job a club captain should be doing.

He's gone, happy to see him go if his heart is no longer with us. What Lallana owed us, the fans who paid his wages and the club was to see out his contract or he should not have signed it. Easy really.

Agreed about signing contracts being win win but what annoyed people is how the declared loyalty evaporated and how quickly he wanted out as soon as his profile was raised - and to any so called 'top club' so it would seem.

So much negativity is depressing, particularly as it is unwarranted and dare I say rather naïve....If AL or LS was your son, faced with the prospect of moving up a level, developing further and earning a fortune...would you really advise him to stay with SFC? C'mon, these are young lads with their futures ahead of them, wanting to do the best they can and max' their opps and potential. Le Tiss was the 'exeption' not the 'rule' and who is to say how a many more caps and honours he could have won playing alongside Cantona, Beckham, keane etc As for the Dutch league being 2nd best, look at the Dutch team and reflect a lot of the players play in that league or certainly started and developed there....had clubs outside NL felt it was an inferior league with 2nd class players, Van Persie, Robben, Schnieider etc would still be there, not to mention the scores of other world class products over the years!! And finally, the Prem Lge may be the most attractive in the world to watch, but it is certainly not the best technically....just look at how our teams fare in Europe...or our England team in the W/C...so let's stop talking like Pompey supporters and start reflecting on the great position we are in and the exciting prospect ahead for us this season.

Reality is that there are only a few 'elites' or clubs with no financial reqs who can be really not classed as selling clubs.....in life most things have a price, and will be sold when it is 'right' :)

The Dutch squad at the WC contain several players from the Eradavise including 5 from Feyenorde. Is it just me t did they not look far superior to England. Would not have any problem with them joining Saints. They are cheap because they are not English who command high prices due to the quota system.

And Mick Channon came back. Top bloke! Still see his windmill arm when he scored a goal - got quite a few, too.

Let's get behind the new bus driver who will replace those who have left. Can't do anything about that. Our motto is onwards & upwards, this has served us well over the past 8 years, so let's give RK a big cheer as he starts his new job today with a huge budget and support from us all.
These players have a better goal & assist record than those who have left (RL being the exception). It's great waiting to see who comes in gives us more to talk about and no doubt moan about. But let's show RK what he is getting in our support. When in league 1 I went to the Brentford game in London, we were sat with some home supporters who said they have never known such a vocal support as we saints gave them that night. So let's show our new boss just how good we are. COYR's

Some of our biggest names being mentioned on this thread.

Most are famous Saints' legends and we add Rickie to this list. Those others who are leaving do NOT get to be a legend.

Rickie will get a cheer when he comes back, and even if he scores. Can't say the same for the others because they are jumping ship before any chance of building on last season's amazing success.

Reckon there might even be a few boos for the others - a shame that but will be understandable. Getting used to the losses, but I will still miss Rickie - a lot!

When Mick came back to play against us at the Dell (2-0) you could tell his heart was not with city, just show's what a pull playing for the saints is. I've a feeling the same may happen to those who thing the grass is greener on the other side, in fact it's red & white.

Tadic will be better than lallana, you heard it here first, I'm pleased to see the back of him, don't care what you say the guy is imature and a fool, next Charlie Adam, he wont get into the Liverpool team, every Liverpool fan I know agrees.

All the players wanting to leave is really shocking, talk about kicking the fans in the teeth…the bitterness I feel is it is all so unneccessary, we are losing players for the first time in our history because of greed and selfishness rather than because we need the money….awful.

How did the board and Les Reed allow this state of affairs to happen, or more importantly why?

We went from being everyones second favourite team and hugely admired abroad to a ufking laughing stock…

This ONLY ever happens through a debt crisis yet we do not have one so there is either gross incompetence or a sinister agenda.

I concur with everything said, just hate the way it has been done and Lallana particularly…

The key is that the clubs ARE taking a big gamble with Lallana and Shaw…Lovren and Spider are proven though…we lose them and we are absolutely in the 5hit.

The key here is to sign at least 4 proven quality players and three diamonds in the rough for starters..

It is encouraging to see us linked with a few players for a change rather than the other way round. It has been an increasingly frustrating summer so far. It'll be good to rebuild and hopefully continue to develop but bringing lots of new players in doesn't solve things straight away, look at the likes of sunderland and spuds last season and so it may be a year of consolidating and rebuilding towards the next step rather than taking it this season. To be honest another 8th finish and a cup final would be fantastic and something to celebrate. We have to be realistic that new manager, new philosophy, new players, an inexperienced board will not get results over night but that's not to say it won't come. Being a saints fan is never an easy job but we do it and we stay loyal because that's what fans are and do. I think if most of us that were watching games in league one a few years ago had said we'd be in this positiion now we'd have bitten anyones limbs off to be here....I do really hope though we can stabilise the ship in terms of selling players. Would love Morgan and Lovren to stay but then saying that we only want players who are totally committed, a club like Everton is consistently in and around the top 7 and yet they have limited resources and yet they don't have the instability we at times seem to show. We should use them as an example of what we can achieve and what a bit of stability can bring. Finally there is a lot of talk on loyalty. We all know that footballers are notriously unloyal and often the offer of big money or prestige wins over common sense and decency. I think with Adam it's an interesting scenario...on the one hand he has been very loyal to us, he has been here since 12 and I remember watching him in league 1 and saying he was england material, he's had other chances to go no doubt but hasn't and yet the way he has acted, tried to force a move by throwing his toys out of the pram without having the decency to at least put a transfer request or come out and publicly say something has left a sour taste in many of our mouths. I hope he doesn't live to regret the move as other players who believed they were better then they were have...at saints he was our star player, adored by the fans and making a name for himself in all the right ways but at liverpool he could well be just another player who makes a name for himself for all the wrong reasons....anyway that's football I guess....lets get through the summer and keep believing that this next season can be another exciting one. I don't agree. When Lovren arrived he immediately stopped us shipping loads of goals and we started to win matches by narrow margins due a tight defence. Do you remember the start of last season? It was truly significant that in November at Arsenal (when he was first out injured) we looked uncertain in the cejntre and that match marked the start of a disastrous month that took us from third place down to what eventually settled as eigth.

If he does go he will be missed - he was a good mentor figure for Fonte as well.

On a different subject, I know it wasn't universally loved, but wondering why the club hasn't got last season's kit for sale on the official site? My son wants a shirt and, while I'll probably wait until the new one is out, thought the away shirt was OK last season.

I know we've split with adidas, but was it not a very friendly split? Can't see why there are no kits for sale on the site, would seem to rob the club of potential revenue?

We've been linked with Aaron Hunt (ex Werder Bremen now avail on a free (his choice to leave at the end of his contract)) I would have this bloke over for the coaches to run their eye over. Goals with both feet now operating as a box to box MF and not a winger. We'd love this fella because he's a character as well and loyal (13 years with Werder Bremen)

From Liverpool Echo recently.....

Meanwhile, if Luis Suarez does indeed leave Anfield then his former club Ajax could be set for a financial windfall, according to Sport Witness .

It is reported that Ajax have written a 10% or 15% sell-on clause in into the player's contract and, should he be sold for a world-record fee, the Dutch club could be in for a huge financial boost.

Liverpool could take advantage of that arrangement to open talks with Ajax over recruiting one of the players that they admire, such as left-back Daley Blind.

Another full-back on Liverpool's radar is Manchester City's right-back Micah Richards, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The 25-year-old is surplus to requirements at the Etihad after the signing of Bakary Sagna from Arsenal and Brendan Rodgers would like to bring the player to Anfield.

He has just one year left on his contract with City.

Dejan Lovren could also be on his way to Anfield after the Daily Star reported that Liverpool are set to beat Spurs to the signing of the Croatian defender.

New Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino was keen on bringing the 24-year-old with him to White Hart Lane but the Southampton star is keen on a move to Anfield.

Saints will be looking for almost double the £8.5m fee they paid for him when they bought Lovren from Lyon last summer.
Who gives a monkeys about Liverpool, sick of hearing about them on this site. Listening to Talk sport many of the Liverpool supporters can't understand this signing, apart from Rodgers only having one Premier League phone number in his mobile. With Suarez going they will mid table next season especially as they are in Europe .

I just read on a Serbian website that Saints have agreed to terms with Twente and Tadic and that he is about to sign.
BTW, as a long-standing Serbian Saints supporter (lots of alliteration there), I am glad to say that Tadic can genuinely play. He's got talent, is a good dribbler and can score. I can't say for sure that he'll make it in the PL, but he's definitely got a chance.
Let's hope for more good news to come.

Stop giving it all the being a saints fan is never an easy job rubbish. Like half the other Saints fans on here your still going along with everything the board does and sound like so many other fans here who are willing to settle for average. Not me im afraid we had a great foundation to build on this season but in one week the board have totally disected the team and now we go again into the unknown with no clarity whatsoever. Cortese gone, Dodd Gone, Shaw gone, lambert gone, and plenty more to follow. I know im not the only Saints fan here who thinks we are the laughing stock of the premier league this week!!!! COYR
So Bazultra what do you intend to do about it buy Messi and perhaps Neymar out of your own pocket money

And there's me, just 12 miles north of Brighton - and never set foot in The Amex.

But, there's a difference. Went to The Dell loads of times in the past. What a ground. Could hardly move, but Ron D and George O'B used to bang 'em in! Great times.

Who remembers being 6-0 up against I Ipswich at half-time? Think it was Derek Reeves who scored 4 or more that day and probably was a Cup game.

Not always happy, but what a team we have to support. Just love the Saints, just like they do in Belgrade!

Think Lallana getting cold feet about sitting on the bench ( As stated he will be a squad/ back up player not a first team player ) when he can be a legend at Saints.. Champions league football is not everything when your watching from the bench, u can watch that at home................
.will seriously harm his England chances wasting away on the bench.. but again that nice hefty wage hike looks rather good don't it Adam Lallana?? money money money

no diverpooh are worried they might be stuck with the biter now hes done his party trick again and are looking down the back of the couch for some money to buy laloadsamoneyla instead!
its no surprise that now the muncher might have to stay, well to the jan window anyway, there are stories that sterling might be off.
no money to spend so they are desperate to cash in on someone they can afford to lose and the headless chicken as drawn the short straw!

ur probs right, but i would rather belieeve he wants to stay a saint. facts are tht saints have accepted liverpools bid so one can only guess things are being stalled cause of lallana, to think liverpool dont have 25 million is in my opinion not viable and that he wants first team football and liverpool will not give him it so he might be seriuosly considering staying at Saints.

i hope any way as i think he is an awesome player and would love it if he stayed at Saints, he can not be replaced

Lallana Gaston and Tadic behind Pelle? sounds like an awesome front 4 to be honest dangerous and would worry defenders in the prem and with the technical ability of these players we could push top 6? i know we have not seen any thing of the true Gaston yet having seen him play before he joined us he is a star player, just needs a good run in the team...........
