EASTLEIGH secured a morale-boosting 2-0 home win over two divisions higher Swindon Town in a pre season friendly at The Silverlake Stadium tonight.

Midfielder Lawson D'Ath, released by Reading at the end of last season and currently on trial at the Conference Premier newcomers, opened the scoring in the first half.

Craig McAllister, on as a second half sub, grabbed a second late on.

Eastleigh boss Richard Hill also started with Marlon Jackson, a Bristol-born midfielder who ended last season with FC Halifax.
