Interesting blog re Saints, transfers and FFP
It is very much worth a read. Its a good in depth summary of the situation - something both Neggies and Happy Clappers should read.

I am a happy clapper because having read it, it confirms the board are doing the right thing for our long term future.

Whats quite interesting though is that these numbers also support the "asset stripping in preparation for a sale" theorists.

By doing what we have done, and what is detailed in the blogg post, it allows us to raise the salary cap in the club significantly and permanently (due to increased income - all be it through player sales), this actually makes us more attractive to a buyer who wants to throw money at the team - which is what some fans want now - so worse case we are asset stripped and sold at a higher value due to the raised salary cap making us very attractive to an Oligarch , US Hedge Fund, Oil Chap etc etc
I am more cynical about that blog.

All of a sudden a blogger from another country turns up who doesn't know who his grandfather is, and informs us that we were better off unloading loads of players and getting loans in. and buying more players next year.

This just happens to fit in with the new club hierarchy's present course. Wi knows, but Krueger, being American may have just asked one of his Lawyer mates to write a blog, thereby taking the heat off the board.
Well, the guy has been pretty desperate to advertise it,and get everyone to read it over the past few days...that's true!
Too true. This blog is just too convenient.
What a tangled web they weave..glad I've retired!"

TOTTENHAM have reportedly offered Romanian defender Vlad Chiriches to Saints as a makeweight in any deal to sign Morgan Schneiderlin.

Spurs only signed the 24-year-old centre half from Steaua Bucharest last summer for £8.5m, and he went on to play 24 times for the London club in all competitions.

There is also speculation today that Louis Van Gaal will consider selling striker Javier Hernandez.

The Mexican international has continually been linked with Saints all summer, even before Ronald Koeman’s arrival as manager.

The 26-year-old has scored 37 Premier League goals for United in 48 starts plus 53 sub appearances in his four seasons at Old Trafford.
