Dominic Webb produced a spell of 6-10 as South Wilts II beat relegation-threatened Trojans by 13 runs to keep their outside Division 3 promotion hopes alive.
Webb ripped out the first three Trojans batsmen for 14 runs before taking a break with the visitors 25-4.
Chasing a hard grafted South Wilts total of 127 (Rob Pittman 31), Trojans rallied to 91-4 through Gaz Stearn (38) and Syed Mahmood (30). But they lost their last six wickets for 23 runs to be dismissed for 114.
South Wilts will need to beat second-placed Bashley (Rydal) on Saturday to keep their promotion prospects alive.
South African Warren Ekstraal cracked an explosive 123 not out - five sixes and nine fours - as Waterlooville piled up 315-3 against Basingstoke & North Hants II at Rowlands Avenue.
James Scutt (98) and Sam Hillman (48 not out) weighed in before Basingstoke were bowled out for 226 (Chris Chandler 67), Locks Heath schoolteacher Danny Durant taking 3-40 and teenager Archie Reynolds 3-30.
