HAMBLE Club maintained their 100 per cent record in the top flight of the Hampshire Premier League yesterday.

Promoted as Division 1 runners-up last season, Hamble Club collected their seventh straight win with a 5-1 success at rock bottom Liss.

They were 2-0 up inside the first 14 minutes through Matt Austin and Simon Quirk, with Kristian Pell, Mike Lamb and Richard Bull on target after the break.

Reigning champions Baffins Milton are now six points clear at the top after collecting their ninth successive victory.

But they left it late before beating Otterbourne 3-2, Shane Cornish scoring an 89th minute winner.

Blu Boam and Chaz Gardner had twice put Baffins in front, with Tom Richards twice levelling.

Second placed AFC Stoneham took a second minute lead at home to Overton through Steve Jenkin.

But Chris Morris struck a 73rd minute leveller to give the visitors a surprise point.

Locks Heath followed up their 9-0 thrashing at AFC Stoneham on Bank Holiday Monday with a 3-1 loss at Bush Hill.

Tom Mason and Terry Parker put last season’s Division 1 champions 2-0 up inside the first 24 minutes, and Nicky Kesby added a third in the second half.

Joe Collins replied 10 minutes from time.

Stuart Findlay scored twice as Winchester Castle stormed into a 2-0 lead at Clanfield, who hit back to draw with Harry Potter and Darren Ferguson netting either side of half-time.

Jamie Wrapson struck a hat-tick as Fleetlands caned visiting Colden Common 6-2.
