SAINTS defender Nathaniel Clyne could well be handed his first senior England international call-up today.
The in-form right back has seen his star rise in recent weeks, helped by a wonder goal against Arsenal in the Capital One Cup.
Hodgson could now turn to former England under-21 regular Clyne, especially with fellow right-backs Kyle Walker and Glen Johnson injured, for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers with San Marino and Estonia.
Clyne’s former Saints colleague Adam Lallana is set for a recall to the senior team after missing last month's games against Norway and Switzerland through injury, Manchester United quartet Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and ex-Saint Luke Shaw could all be absent from Hodgson’s squad.
