SAINTS captain Jose Fonte admits togetherness is the key as he prepares to lead his team in Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup quarter-final at Sheffield United.
The Portugese defender is determined to oversee a reversal of the club’s recent fortunes at Bramall Lane.
After the fourth successive league defeat at Burnley, he said: “We need to keep the spirit and keep the team together and everyone has to take responsibility.
“It’s up to us to change this. We want to keep fighting together and hopefully things will start changing soon.
“The quarter-final is a big chance to bounce back and it’s good the game is as soon as Tuesday. It can get us back the momentum needed to start winning games again."
