Trojans’ newly promoted second team are within one match of completing their Hampshire Women’s League Division 1 championship season with an unbeaten record.
They trimmed 2014 champions Winchester 3-0 at Kings’ to make it 18 wins from 21 outings.
Winchester made a bright start, but were on the back foot once Megan Smith opened Trojans’ account.
Trojans held their single-goal lead until half-time and then effectively killed the game off with two more strikes in quick succession.
The first of the brace came from excellent play down the left between 15-year-old Maddie Pendle, Sarah Shaw which saw top scorer Rosie Lickorish finish into an empty goal.
The third was a Pendle penalty flick after Lickorish’s shot was stopped the line by a Winchester player.
Trojans dominated throughout the game and Winchester failed to get into the Trojans D.
Captain and goalkeeper Robyn Creeden, playing her last 2nd XI game before going to university, did not touch the ball during the entire game.
