Hampshire's cricketers have jumped on AFC Totton's FA Vase bandwagon.
Stags keeper and Hampshire assistant coach Iain Brunnschweiler will be supported by several Rose Bowl colleagues for the biggest match of his footballing career tomorrow - the first leg of the Vase semi-final against Billingham Synthonia at Testwood Park.
Dimi Mascarenhas, Nic Pothas, Chris Benham and Chris Tremlett were in a record crowd of 1,309 that cheered on AFC Totton as the Stags beat Wimborne in a thrilling quarter final three weeks ago.
All-rounder Mascarenhas said: "Obviously we wish Brunchy and the rest of the Totton team all the best.
"They played well in the last game against Wimborne, it's just a shame their (pink) away kit isn't ideal!"
Tickets for tomorrow's first leg are available to buy at Testwood Park until 6pm this evening.
They are priced at £8 (adults) and £4 (concessions) but children will be admitted free if they have a Daily Echo voucher and are accompanied by an adult.
The vouchers have been in the Daily Echo all week and there is another on p87 of today's edition.
Secretary Jason Tull said: "With Saints not playing this weekend the interest we've had has been unprecedented and we're now expecting another record crowd of at least 1500.
"The more people that buy tickets from the ground on Friday the better so as to avoid lengthy queues at the gate on the day."
