NACHO NOVO says he would love Rangers to repeat the performance they served up on their last visit to Tynecastle.

Walter Smith's men head through to Edinburgh on Saturday to take on Hearts.

The last time they faced the Jam Tarts on their own patch, which is considered to be one of their toughest tests of the season, they romped to a 4-0 victory.

And Novo said: "I remember that game very well as we were very good and never really gave Hearts a chance.

"Jean-Claude Darcheville scored two good goals and then I got two more in the second half so we were all very pleased after the final whistle.

"Tynecastle is never an easy place to go, so to win 4-0 shows how well we played.

"But that was last season, a long time ago, and circumstances are different now.

"They are doing very well and have a new manager who seems to have brought a bit of confidence back to their team."

Speaking in the Rangers News, Novo added: "I enjoy going to play there because of the noise and how tight the stands are to the pitch. You always feel as though the fans are right on top of you and you can hear everything, which I like."

Kenny Miller is still doubtful after missing the 2-0 win over Aberdeen with a calf injury.

Manager Walter Smith said: "I think Sasa Papac will be fit for the game and I'm quite certain that Kris Boyd, who came off injured at the weekend, will be okay.

"I'm also fairly hopeful that Madjid Bougherra will come in again too after missing our last couple of games.

"Kenny has taken a nasty knock to his calf and that's one of those we'll have to take care of.

"We hope he'll be able to play this weekend but at this stage I've got to say he's a little bit doubtful."
