SPARTAK MOSCOW today confirmed they had received a bid - believed to be £4million - from West Ham for defender Radoslav Kovac.
The Czech international is reported to be a target for Celtic. But the queue of clubs chasing the 29-year-old is growing.
Spartak general director Valery Karpin said: "We've received a formal proposal for Kovac from West Ham, as well as from another one in England and Spanish clubs.
"All of them will be considered, taking into account the views of the player. The final decision may be taken as early as today."
Meanwhile, Celtic are expected to complete the signing of Willo Flood after Dundee United play Rangers on Saturday.
