SCOTTISH boxing legend Jim Watt has called for Scott Harrison and Alex Arthur to face each other in the ring.
Harrison vacated his WBO featherweight title after struggling to make the weight for a defence against Nicky Cook in London earlier this month, while 28-year-old Arthur has vacated his European super-featherweight title to concentrate on a world title fight.
"I can't think of a better match involving two Scotsmen," said former world lightweight champion Watt.
"I think (promoter) Frank Warren has already been thinking about making that fight in the last year."
Cambuslang's Harrison, 29 - who was released from a Spanish prison last month following allegations of assault and faces trial in February - is believed to be moving up to lightweight for a return to the ring next year.
