Sussex musicians Sir Paul McCartney and Adele have been named among the wealthiest entertainers in Britain.
The former has been named the richest in the Sunday Times Rich List with a £730 million fortune, while Adele has £50 million in the bank.
Now, 72, Peasmarsh-based Sir Paul has had his wealth boosted by his wife Nancy Shevell, who has a £150 million stake in her family’s US trucking business.
Other Sussex entries include West Wittering Rolling Stone Keith Richards in fifth with £210 million and Pink Floyd’s Dave Gilmour in 25th with £90 million.
Adele, from Hove, heads the list of young musicians, up £5 million on last year.
The fortunes of the richest performers are to be revealed in full in the 27th annual Sunday Times Rich List this weekend.
