SYDENHAMS Premier newcomers Salisbury have pulled off a pre-season friendly coup.
Eddie Howe will be taking Premier League new boys AFC Bournemouth to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Tuesday, July 21.
“This is a real coup. It’s fantastic for us,” said Salisbury boss Steve Claridge.
“I am assured it will be a strong team and we are extremely grateful to Eddie and AFC Bournemouth.”
Salisbury will also be welcoming Richard Hill’s Conference national play-off semi-finalists Eastleigh to the Ray Mac on Tuesday, July 28.
This comes on top of a visit from Bristol Rovers, newly promoted to League Two, on Saturday, July 11. Rovers are managed by ex-Salisbury City boss Darrell Clarke.
