FORMER Saints star Theo Walcott helped his old club qualify for European football for the first time in more than a decade as he scored for Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Walcott, a Saints academy product who joined the Gunners nearly ten years ago for £9.1m, scored the first goal as the Gunners defeated Aston Villa 4-0 to lift the trophy.
Their win ensured Saints qualified for the Europa League as a result of finishing seventh last season. They will start their European campaign on July 30.
