STEVE Hollick's AFC Totton will to take part in the Weymouth 125 Tournament as part of their build-up for the Southern One South & West campaign.

The four-club event, also involving teams from AFC Bournemouth and Torquay United, will be held at the Bob Lucas Stadium on Saturday, July 18.

It is being organised by Weymouth’s player-coach Chris McPhee to celebrate the Dorset club’s 125 years of football.

The round-robin tournament/family fun day is set to feature shortened games, most likely 15 minutes each way, with the top two teams locking horns in a final.

Gates will be open at 11am with tickets costing £10 adults, £7 concessions and £3 under-16s. Parking at the ground will be £1.

Totton’s first two confirmed pre-season friendlies are both away from home – at Pat McManus’s Brockenhurst on Tuesday, July 14 and at James Taylor’s Team Solent on Friday, July 17.

Two tasty home games follow against Tom Killick’s Poole Town on Thursday, July 23 and Farnborough on Saturday, July 25.

A trip to Graham Kemp’s Bemerton Heath Harlequins is next up on Tuesday, July 28 and the Stags make a swift return to Wiltshire on Saturday, August 1 to face Steve Claridge’s Salisbury at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
