Saints are starting to plot potential opponents after UEFA confirmed the Europa League pots for today’s third qualifying round draw.

Ronald Koeman’s men have been confirmed as a seeded side, and placed in Group 3.

That means they could be pitted against any of the following unseeded teams in their upcoming two-legged tie, which is scheduled for July 30 and August 6:

  • Vitesse (NED)
  • SK Sturm Graz (AUT)
  • R. Charleroi SC (BEL)/Beitar Jerusalem FC (ISL)
  • FK Vojvodina (SRB)/FK Spartaks Jūrmala (LVA)
  • Shamrock Rovers FC (IRL)/Odds BK (NOR)
  • FK Kukësi (ALB)/FK Mladost Podgorica (MNE)

It means Koeman could face a trip back home to Holland to take on Vitesse, or a return to Austria, from where Saints have only recently returned from a pre-season trip, to take on Strum Graz.

The winners of the remaining four ties will not be confirmed until next week, when the second qualifying round has been played.

They are either Charleroi (Belgium)/Beitar Jerusalem (Israel), FK Vojvodina (Serbia)/FK Spartaks Jūrmala (Latvia), Shamrock Rovers (Ireland)/Odds BK (Norway), FK Kukësi (Albania)/FK Mladost Podgorica (Montenegro).

The draw takes place at midday.
